Day 1. Tbilisi

Day 2. Mtskheta - Gori - Uplistsikhe

 Breakfast. A trip to the ancient capital of Georgia - Mtskheta, a picturesque city museum (UNESCO), founded in the 5th century BC. By the number of churches it is called "The Second Jerusalem". Sightseeing of the main sights: the Church of the Holy Cross (Javari), the 4th century, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - the 11th century, one of the main cathedrals of the Georgian Orthodox Church, in the place of which, according to legend, the chiton of Christ was buried and the cedar that became sacred. Samtavro is also located here (the first half of the 11th century), the oldest working women's monastery, the Shio-Mgvim Monastery, a 6th-century mountain man's monastery, famous for its cave dug-out by the hands of monks.

Gori was first mentioned in the annals from the 7th century AD. e. The city takes its name from the rock formation (goraki) in the center of the city, on which are located the remains of the ancient Gorisiche. The historical fortress was erected in the center of the town of Gori, on a high rocky hill. The first fortified settlement, according to archaeological data, existed in the IV-III centuries. BC. One of the first cities of Georgia, carved into the rock is Uplistsikhe. The city emerged in the late II - early I millennium BC. E., is one of the most important monuments of Georgian culture. Day 3. Kakheti

We will tell the history of these places and the whole of Georgia, about the mentality and life of the Georgian people, and about the unique Georgian winemaking. On the way there will be the residence of Kakhetian kings, the estate-museum of Alexander Chavchavadze, the first capital of the Kakhetian kingdom and the ancient monastic complex. Excursions to wine companies and wine tasting and other drinks. A city of love with a wonderful view of the Alazani Valley with its vineyards and snow-covered chain of Caucasian mountains, as well as traditional dishes of Kakhetian cuisine and a couple of pleasant surprises. You will discover the famous Kakheti, get acquainted with its main symbols, enjoy the beauty and hospitality of the sunny grape region and, even in cool weather, take away only the warmest memories from here. Return to Tbilisi, overnight at the hotel.
